The programme was organised for the students of Lions Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Karuppayoorani, Madurai, and was held at The Fortune Pandian Hotel, Madurai on 10th January, 2026.
The speakers highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available in the tourism and hospitality sectors and provided insights into academic pathways, skill requirements, and industry prospects. The session was informative and highly beneficial for the school students, helping them gain clarity about future career options.

The Department of Management Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University College organised a seminar on “Trade Finance: A Link between Finance and Business” on 8th January, 2026 at Tholkappiar Hall.
Mr. R. Murugadoss, Chief Manager (Retd.), State Bank of Mysore, was the Chief Guest for the seminar. In his address, he emphasized the vital role of trade finance in connecting financial systems with business operations. He also provided detailed insights into the mechanics of Documentary Credit, enabling students to understand its practical applications in domestic and international trade.
The seminar was informative and beneficial to the students, enhancing their knowledge of trade finance concepts and real-world banking practices.

மதுரை காமராசர் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கல்லூரி, கலைஞர் நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு பெற்ற கல்வி நிறுவனமாக செயல்பட்டு வருவதன் அடிப்படையில், இவ்விழாவிற்கு நமது கல்லூரிக்கு சிறப்பு அழைப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
அதன்படி, 07.01.2026 காலை, கலைஞர் நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்தில் “தமிழும் தமிழ் சொந்தங்களும்” என்ற தலைப்பில் பேராசிரியர் திரு. சாலமன் பாப்பையா அவர்கள் சிறப்பு சொற்பொழிவு ஆற்றினார். இச்சொற்பொழிவு தமிழ்மொழியின் சிறப்பு, அதன் பண்பாட்டு அடையாளங்கள் மற்றும் சமூகப் பங்களிப்புகள் குறித்து மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆழமான புரிதலை வழங்கியது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் நமது கல்லூரியின் தமிழ் துறை, சமூகவியல் துறை மற்றும் சுற்றுலாத்துறை மாணவ, மாணவிகள் மற்றும் பேராசிரியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
மேலும், தமிழ் துறைத் தலைவர் முனைவர் A. சாந்தி, நூலகர் திருமதி சங்கீதா உள்ளிட்டோரும் இந்நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்றனர்.

A total of 120 MCA students of Madurai Kamaraj University College were provided with an excellent opportunity to participate in a 5-day Skill Development Course titled
“Fundamentals of Cyber Security Principles to AI-Powered Threat Detection in an IoT Environment (Specialization in Basics of AI)”.
The programme was conducted by the School of Information Technology, Department of Computer Applications, Madurai Kamaraj University, from 13th to 17th October 2025. The course enabled students to gain foundational knowledge in cyber security, artificial intelligence, and emerging threat detection techniques in IoT environments.
Madurai Kamaraj University College sincerely thanks the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Dr. M. Ramakrishnan, for providing this valuable learning opportunity to the students.

நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்ற நாள் : 29.12.2025 (திங்கள்கிழமை)
மதுரை காமராசர் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் மதுரை மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலகம் இணைந்து மாணவர்களுக்கான போட்டித் தேர்வு கட்டணமில்லா பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் 29.12.2025 முதல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இதற்கான துவக்க விழா கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக திரு. M. கண்ணன், துணை இயக்குநர், மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் தொழில் நெறி வழிகாட்டி மையம் அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு பயிற்சி வகுப்புகளைத் துவங்கி வைத்து, அரசு வேலைவாய்ப்புகளுக்கான முறையான பயிற்சி மற்றும் முன்னோட்டத் தயாரிப்பின் அவசியத்தை மாணவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார்.
விழாவில் தலைமை உரையாற்றிய கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர் பா. ஜார்ஜ் அவர்கள், மாணவர்கள் கல்வி பருவத்திலேயே தங்களது இலக்கை நிர்ணயித்து இத்தகைய பயிற்சிகள் மூலம் தங்களை தயார்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்தினார்.
இந்த பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் மாணவர்கள் நலன் கருதி காலை 11.00 முதல் 1.00 மணி வரையும், மதியம் 2.00 முதல் மாலை 4.00 மணி வரையும் நடைபெறும் என ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு. G. சுரேஷ்குமார், இணைப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் கணிதத்துறை தலைவர் அவர்கள் தெரிவித்தார்.
இந்நிகழ்வில் சுமார் 300 மாணவ, மாணவியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

மதுரை காமராஜர் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கல்லூரியில், நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட (NSS) அலகுகள் 92, 93, 94, 95, 205 மற்றும் 228 ஆகியவற்றின் சார்பில் இணைய வழி பாதுகாப்பு குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு கருத்தரங்கம் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த விழிப்புணர்வு கருத்தரங்கில் Federal Bank, Madurai மற்றும் மதுரை காவல்துறை – சைபர் குற்றப்பிரிவு ஆகியவை இணைந்து பங்கேற்றன.
“Twice is Wise” என்ற தலைப்பில் நடைபெற்ற இக்கருத்தரங்கில் Federal Bank-இன் திரு. Lijeesh K. P (Senior Manager & Branch Head) அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு, இணைய வழி வங்கிச் சேவைகள் மற்றும் பண பரிவர்த்தனைகள் மேற்கொள்ளும் போது கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டிய பாதுகாப்பு முறைகள் குறித்து மாணவர்களுக்கு விரிவாக விளக்கினார். மேலும் இணைய வழி கடன் பெறுதல் தொடர்பான அபாயங்கள் குறித்தும் எடுத்துரைத்தார்.
அவரை தொடர்ந்து, திரு. சி. ராஜா, 2-உதவி ஆய்வாளர், சைபர் குற்றப்பிரிவு, மதுரை அவர்கள் சமூக ஊடகங்கள் மூலமாக ஏற்படக்கூடிய தனிநபர் அச்சுறுத்தல்கள், பெண்களுக்கான இணைய பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப விழிப்புணர்வின் அவசியம் குறித்து பல்வேறு நிகழ்வுகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டி மாணவர்களுக்கு விளக்கினார்.
இந்த விழிப்புணர்வு கருத்தரங்கில் நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட அலகுகளை சேர்ந்த மொத்தம் 300 மாணவர்கள் ஆர்வமுடன் கலந்து கொண்டு பயனடைந்தனர்.
இந்நிகழ்விற்கு கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர் பா. ஜார்ஜ் அவர்கள் தலைமையேற்றார்.

மதுரை காமராஜர் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கல்லூரியில், தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறையின் முக்கிய முயற்சிகளில் ஒன்றான மணற்கேணி செயலி குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு முகாம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த நிகழ்வு கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர் பா. ஜார்ஜ் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்நிகழ்வில், கல்லூரி பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் T.Z. அகமது, இணைப் பேராசிரியர் – உணவக மேலாண்மை துறை மற்றும் மணற்கேணி செயலி மண்டல ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு. கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி அவர்கள் முன்னிலை வகித்தனர்.
இந்த விழிப்புணர்வு முகாமிற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை கல்லூரி கணினி அறிவியல் துறை பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் கார்த்திகா & விளையாட்டு பேராசிரியர் திரு. மதன் அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தனர்.
